Each year my husband and I forgo gifts for each other (things we don’t really need or can buy any time of the year) and, in exchange, adopt a Christmas wishlist from our local Giving Tree for a child in Columbia’s Foster and Adoption Project. Through the Giving Tree children of all ages can have a Christmas filled with love, fun, and happy memories. A Christmas all children deserve.
This year we had our little Crue Bean to join in on the fun! As he grows up we hope we can continue to show him the importance of selflessness, kindness, and how to give back to the community and others when he can.
